No, not the awesome Japanese group Vamps, or the UK band The Vamps. Just Vamp: Thai Pop Group debuted in early 2013 with 7 handsome members.

This video was shot in a beautiful location, with great angles. The boys have a 'vampy' feel about them without bearing any fangs. The leading lady is pretty sexy, and appears to be a labelmate from the girl group Shuu, who can be seen in Vamp's other MV (the ballad- How I came to love(him)).
The song is catchy though the "Suck it, Suck it" part was laughable. Overall I like it. The dance however, though synchronized and clean, seemed stiff and lacked feeling and interest. Sorry, you can't be cute and perfect all the time.

Recap:// Boys Before Friends Episode 1

No one is more surprised than I am, that I'm actually doing a recap for episode one. Okay, maybe Batzy-chan is more surprised than I, especially since she knows I could not get past the first 20 minutes of this when I tried to watch it last week.

However, I took some time to reflect, and I've come to think of it as providing a service for those fans who can't bring themselves to watch the American version of Boys Over Flowers but want to know in some detail how it was portrayed (at least for the first episode), and for those who aren't familiar with the original storyline and are therefore completely at a loss as to what is going on in this program!

POW:// Hiro Mizushima

Looks like there's a new guy on the list. If you don't recognize the name, maybe the face will do the trick. Here's my first Point of Weakness of the Year. And he's Japanese!

DOB: April 13, 1984
Birth Place: Tokyo, Japan
Occupation: Actor, Writer, Model
Languages: Fluency in English and Japanese

First place I recalled seeing him was Hana Kimi (Hanazakari no Kimitachi e) where he played Minami Nanba. This character was the head of the second house and nephew to the school doctor. The following actors also played this character in other adaptations: Renn Kiriyama (2011 version), Danson Tang (Taiwanese version) and Seo Jun-Young(Korean version, To The Beautiful You)

Hiro is married to the beautiful Ayaka, and has been since 2009.

Hiro will be playing Sebastian in the live action movie for Black Butler (Kuro Shitsuji). His character is a demon butler with some bad ass moves. I am excited since I loved the anime and expect Hiro to do an awesome job as Sebastian in the role that marks the end of his 3+ year hiatus. He also slimmed down for the role. (Not like he needed to...but he still looks great)

Review:// The Heirs

It seemed as though The Heirs was going to be the Hit of the Year with a cast including Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, and Choi Jin Hyuk.

Not only that, but the screenplay was penned by none other than Kim Eun Sook who has a history of hits such as Lovers in Prague, On Air, City Hall, Secret Garden and A Gentleman's Dignity.

Not that the ratings for The Heirs were bad; the drama pulled in a decent nationwide average of 16.7% (AGB Nielsen). But as delicious as it was, it left an unsatisfying emptiness as if it were some sort of Kdrama fast food.

MV BREAKDOWN:// BH: All I Want For Christmas

YG strong vocals Lee Hi and Park Bom join forces to form BH. Together they released a rendition of Mariah Carey's holiday hit, All I Want For Christmas (Is You). I am in love with Mariah's version.When I heard BH was forming, I have to admit I was slightly excited for a listen. I love Lee Hi and Park Bom has a beautiful voice, most of the time. The tempo of the song was slowed down a tad to make way for smooth riffs, melodic note extensions and just plan dragging it out to emphasize the great singers that they are. The song alone is quite lovely (some might say boring) but the video extends to level I would like to call "WTH, this is creepy."

The video starts off with a soft, white and pure feel. But then enters a horror-movie, substance leaking cabinet.

Why is she singing with her eyes closed. Is she dead?

Why is Park Bom just lying there with pill-like objects scattered on the floor? Is she dead?

Nope, she's alive. *Noms Dirty Floor Candies* And yet another horror movie reference, with a sheet-covered Lee Hi in the background.

Then there's an axe...(Lee Hi, what are you doing?)

You're scaring me now.

Park Bom drags a bag, on some creepy killer movie mode. (Fun Fact: This scene is similar to the one of the 2003 horror/thriller movie The Tale of Two Sisters where the step mom drags a bloody bag through the halls. BTW, Batzy recommends this movie.)

Here's an adorable little mouse getting his party grub on. He is so cute, he reminds me of my pet rat, Mr. Nibbles. (RIP, Mr. Nibbles *sobs*)

But then this happens:

Oh no, Mr Mouse?! (Was this really necessary. I hope the poor thing wasn't hurt in this video.)

There is also a cute scene with BH being playful and adorable,

but then creepiness fills the air again.

All in all, the song is well done but the video was definitely a nightmare before christmas. (See what I did there? :P)

First Impressions:// You Who Came From The Stars (Version Batzy)

Boy did the graphics suck in the beginning of the drama. WTF was that anyways. Talk about terrible. At least by the end of the episode they seemed to be a little better.

Now lets be serious. I only decided to watch the drama because of Kim Soo Hyun. I figured, hey! I should try and write a first impressions like Unnie. And then the shower scene happened and my brain turned to mush. So read Panda's version instead.

I hear he will be going to the military after this is done. -whimpers-
