MV BREAKDOWN:// BH: All I Want For Christmas

YG strong vocals Lee Hi and Park Bom join forces to form BH. Together they released a rendition of Mariah Carey's holiday hit, All I Want For Christmas (Is You). I am in love with Mariah's version.When I heard BH was forming, I have to admit I was slightly excited for a listen. I love Lee Hi and Park Bom has a beautiful voice, most of the time. The tempo of the song was slowed down a tad to make way for smooth riffs, melodic note extensions and just plan dragging it out to emphasize the great singers that they are. The song alone is quite lovely (some might say boring) but the video extends to level I would like to call "WTH, this is creepy."

The video starts off with a soft, white and pure feel. But then enters a horror-movie, substance leaking cabinet.

Why is she singing with her eyes closed. Is she dead?

Why is Park Bom just lying there with pill-like objects scattered on the floor? Is she dead?

Nope, she's alive. *Noms Dirty Floor Candies* And yet another horror movie reference, with a sheet-covered Lee Hi in the background.

Then there's an axe...(Lee Hi, what are you doing?)

You're scaring me now.

Park Bom drags a bag, on some creepy killer movie mode. (Fun Fact: This scene is similar to the one of the 2003 horror/thriller movie The Tale of Two Sisters where the step mom drags a bloody bag through the halls. BTW, Batzy recommends this movie.)

Here's an adorable little mouse getting his party grub on. He is so cute, he reminds me of my pet rat, Mr. Nibbles. (RIP, Mr. Nibbles *sobs*)

But then this happens:

Oh no, Mr Mouse?! (Was this really necessary. I hope the poor thing wasn't hurt in this video.)

There is also a cute scene with BH being playful and adorable,

but then creepiness fills the air again.

All in all, the song is well done but the video was definitely a nightmare before christmas. (See what I did there? :P)

GD's WIN Style

Aww, GD. Right back at ya.

If you aren't caught up with YG's Who is Next, then that's a big problem. In episode 6, the battle really heats up as Team A is led by Taeyang and Team B is led by GD. Fans are now able to vote for their favorite Team and the winner will be the next group to debut under YG.
Team B is on point with an awesome stage presence, tight dance routines and fierce energy.
My heart goes out to Team A, the hyung team, who have everything to lose and put in their best efforts. Their vocals are great. Will their spirits be broken in another episode of loss or will they rise to the occasion and prove they deserve to debut?

MV BREAKDOWN:// G-Dragon: Michi Go

So today I get my YouTube emails and I got to say that I was super excited to see that BIGBANG's YouTube account uploaded G-Dragon's "Go" ("MichiGo") video. This video has appearances by Se7en, Teddy and Taeyang and these guys are always a pleasure to see. "Go" is fun filled video (of course it is Silly, that's expected of GD.) and has this adorable man sporting some crazy hairstyles from a clean cut black mop-top closely reminiscent to his Heartbreaker days, a black afro, mo-hawk and a very cute half brown half black natural curl look.

My comments: At first scene I thought GD had some extra huge feet. :) I like pink and elephants so the mascot head was cool with me. His look with the natural curls and glasses was my favorite among them, and the innocent look really fits him. Too cute. (Though the spanking scene left me to wander a bit and if I am not mistaken there is a line that says "Nan Dessert"...yes GD, I'm sure you are...or maybe I am hearing things. I think its more along the lines of him having dessert, as in a female, not him being dessert but I can dream.)

I would love to be on set with these guys, they always seem to have so much fun and be so energetic. The song itself is an upbeat party song that will leave you wanting to dance.
