Ji Chang Wook wanted to go into architecture or engineering when he was in high school. He ended up applying to Dankook University's department of Theater and Film because he thought that acting would be fun and easy. It turned out to be fun and difficult but he enjoys it, and we enjoy watching him!

In 2007, Ji Chang Wook performed in Fire and Ice, a production comprising of three short plays.

2008

After landing a minor role in KBS2's You Are Very Good, a 156 episode daily romantic drama, Ji Chang Wook made his official debut in a film directed by his college sunbae, Lee Hana.

Sleeping Beauty is a melodramatic omnibus with incestual themes. Ji Chang Wook plays Jin Seo, a student who suffers beatings by his grandfather. He provides the sole source of comfort for Su Jin (Lee Na Ri), who was smuggled into the country and adopted by his grandfather who regularly rapes her. Jin Seo reaches his boiling point as he strives to protect a very pregnant Su Jin.

Ji Chang Wook starred in the music video for Are You Ready by Lena Park & Dynamic Duo for MTV Korea/The Body Shop's Anti-AIDS Campaign.

In an interview, Ji Chang Wook revealed that he felt comfortable while shooting the commercial for SK Telecom T-Cash because there was a flow to it. He had fun and gave the money he earned from it to his mother. It's short, but ends in a really cute way!

With classes he gives off a kind, intellectual and manly vibe.

In November, I had the pleasure of going to VIXX's showcase concert in NYC. With the release of high touch passes for the first 300 non-VIP ticket holders outside of the concert venue on the line, I lined up with friends early in the morning. It was pretty cold but worth the wait.

Now I am a fan of VIXX but my bias is Ravi. After the concert, fans lined up for high touch. I was super excited for this. I structured a game plan. My mission was to say thank you to all the members and confess my love to Ravi. That soooo didn't go according to plan. When the curtains opened Leo was front in line for high touch, I said thanks and went on to the next member. Who was the next member...I think it was Hyuk. My hand was grabbed longer than I expected and my brain shut off. I mindlessly high fived another member...Then Hongbin ruined my life.

He leaned into me and said "Thank you" (Yes in English) and shined his killer smile and adorable dimples at me. We met eyes and he has the most innocent doe-like eyes I have ever had the pleasure of losing myself in. I think I died.

My bias list was shattered into pieces. I let out a giggle and high fived the rest of the group. My consciousness was revived by the time I got to N as the final member and walked out the venue. I blink and yell..."WTH, I missed Ravi?!" So now, I still love Ravi but I screwed up my moment and Hongbin is forever etched in my mind. With this post, I hope you join me in my newly found POW.

I am currently in LOVE with You Who Came From The Stars/My Love From Another Star. Kim Soo Hyun is sexy, stunning and just plan amazing. Jeon Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun have a great chemistry together. They also worked together in the movie The Thieves. It's said that he actually convinced her to play the part of Song Ye, claiming that no one could play the character like she could. He seems pretty down to earth for an Alien.

I went to a shop in K-Town and saw a poster of him in it. I freaked and now frequently go there. To eat stuff and chat with my friends, not to stare at his poster from the endorsement below.

He thinks is eyes are his best facial feature. I like to think his face is his best feature, like ALL OF IT.

SJK dies in it so there isn't much of him to watch. My attention was actually not drawn to Kim Soo Hyun but to Go Soo.

In 2012, Soo Hyun took the physical to get into the military but failed to gain active service priviledges due to a previous condition. He has a heart condition and has had surgeries. His heart beats irregular and faster than normal. (Yea, well I see him, so does mine.) In 2013, he took the test again and is going to be in active military when he goes in. (Which is a big possibility it could be this year but I won't get fangirls riled up again until there's more info.)

Little known facts:
He debuted as a solo artist by the name of AJ. AJ stood for Ace Junior. Supposedly he was asked to switch his name as it was the same as AJ from Paran, who is AJ from UKISS. Ki Kwang debuted with B2st in 2009 under his real name.

He is allergic to shellfish. (Me too...Let's avoid crustaceans together.)

After seeing him in the 4 episode mobile drama 20's (aka Twenty Year Old), it was all over for me. This drama reeled me in, as Ki Kwang plays himself, an idol, who still hasn't forgotten about his first love. When they accidentally meet up, things get a little out of hand as he tries to maintain a love life while he and his girlfriend struggle in the public eye.

In the drama special My Friend is Still Alive, Ki Kwang plays a high schooler that was given six months to live. I balled my eyes out and cried more than I have for a 21 episode drama in the 1+ hour I watched this. I heard he filmed for only 4 days. What a pro!

He can pull off sweet...
