In the City:// AJ of U-KISS

After a long night of fun in the city, a friend and I decided to walk back down the strip of K-Town in Manhattan and go "Sight Seeing". Now, if you know me, Sight Seeing refers to checking out the guys. While walking, I spot this cute guy sitting on the steps, messing with his phone. While passing him, I catch a glimpse of his facial profile. He doesn't look up, completely focused on his phone. And I walk away and decided to do a double take.

Oh sh**, he looks like AJ of U-KISS?!

A few thoughts scrambled in my mind, and after a faint reassurance of my friend agreeing that there is a slight possibility that it actually WAS him, I decided it F**K it. He was outside, just him and his phone. This is perfect.

*fangirl ninja mode activated*

I walked back to him and said "Excuse me?" in my sweet voice. (I kid you not when I say this.)He looked up from his phone and I SWEAR TO YOU, you know camera effect in dramas with the fuzzy, calming shot and sparkles when a cute guy comes in the scene, that is was I saw when he looked up at me. O_o *dies*

Aren't you AJ from U-KISS?
With a shy and almost shocked look, he leans back and covers his mouth to laugh, then confirms my suspicion.
Yes, I am. *holds out hand for a shake* Thanks for noticing me.

Thanks for noticing me? More like thanks for talking to ME. (He was too cute.) We (my friend and I) had a conversation, in K-Town, at 4AMish with him while he waited for some friends to get out of a near by restaurant.

Now, it's a known fact that AJ is going to Columbia University. And I did ask about when he would return for a comeback with the guys of U-KISS. Since it's finals week, he has been focusing a lot of his schooling. I wished him luck and went on my way. Not only was I extremely proud of myself for actually having the guts to walk up to him and hold a conversation with out overflowing with feels but I was a little shocked about how laid back and down to earth AJ was. I am thankful that he took the time out to chat and thought it was completely adorable when he smiled. He's pretty cool. He really was just a normal guy. (Not really, it's fking AJ of UKISS - for the love of KPOP but you know what I mean.)

PupChan already yelled at me for not talking a selca with him. There was a reason for that:
I contained the feels. I did not want to do what would usually happen and he was used to from anyone that met him. I was already a random person talking to him at 4am. Initially, I felt like going up to him and talking was a nuisance already. I definitely did not want to bug him for a pic or autograph. I am sure he likes a break from that every once in a while.

So case in point, this is not to rub it in anyone's face that I met him but the opposite. Meeting up with a KPOP star can be super random and awesome at the same time.I am sure many fangirls think they won't meet idols unless they go to Korea or maybe even never. Some run around trying to find them. Sometimes things just happen. If you do run into an idol, remember they are people too and respect them and the privacy they have. I am sure its cool to say hi but know your boundaries and don't get all sasaeng about it. If you meet one and he isn't your bias, prepare to possibly have your bias list ruined.
On that note, thanks for reading. AJ, thanks for chatting. Hope you didn't wait too long for your friends, the weather was getting chilly out. Good luck on those finals. Thanks for screwing up my bias list too. <3

They Look Alike:// Ravi VS Baro

This is a little segment known as They Look Alike. It's pretty self explanatory.
VIXX's Ravi and B1A4's Baro are the first set on my radar. Why? Because I love them and have found myself calling them the wrong name plenty of times. I can tell the difference between the two, but that definitely doesn't stop the occasional slip of the tongue. Let's compare now, shall we?

Stage Name: RAVI (of VIXX) BARO (of B1A4)
Real Name: Kim Wonshik Cha Sun Woo
Date of Birth: Feb. 15, 1993 Sept. 5, 1992
Position: Main Rapper Main Rapper

Do you think Ravi and Baro look alike?

Baro starred in Reply 1994 and is in God's Gift-14 Days which is currently airing.

MV BREAKDOWN:// Tasty: MaMaMa

Yay, finally!

With the release of their second mini "Spectacular" comes a brand new website and the video for their single "MaMaMa". The song sports lyrics written by Hoya and Dong Woo of Infinite/Infinite H. The beat has a bumping brass and percussion ensemble with a slight swing feel to it with towards midsong.

After a few days of slight website changes that involved just a video or image of the boys I am quite pleased with the unveil of www.tasty2wins.com The colors work well and the prismatic feel matches that of the video. Good job design team.

Since I have been posting a few times regarding the video release its tough to figure out what to say about it.
I guess I will post screenies and some more to this later, but for now, enjoy the video.

MV BREAKDOWN:// WonderBoyz: Tarzan

So I didn't know a group named WonderBoyz existed outside of the UKISS members making a cameo in Mr. Idol as the group Wonder Boys. Maybe I am out of the loop.
Anyways, the video was posted about a month ago on CJENMMUSIC's YouTube account, today was the first time I viewed it. (While watching several EXO Wolf Dance Covers.)
I am loving the song, I think its got the Latina blood dancing in my veins. I've had it on repeat for a while now. And my comments are:
  • The english parts are pretty good. Nice job guys.
  • The chorus is catchy though I've been muttering it, not knowing what the hell was said beside the word Tarzan.
  • You all know I love eye candy. I am honestly gonna look into getting more info on these guys. Though the "Tarzan" peeping his "Jane" through the telescope was creepy yet adorable. Not that I like creepy but I am filled with mixed emotions of love when I see asian boys. (Aren't you?)
  • I actually like how the infamous Tarzan yell was used in the song. Not overkill but just right.
  • Ending of the video...hmmm. It left me wanting more but thinking the scene was kindda awkward.

We'll see how I feel about these guys after some research and more videos. Keep an eye out.
Ciao

MV BREAKDOWN:// MBLAQ: Smoky Girl

Yesterday MBLAQ's video for "Smoky Girl" debuts. I've been getting my fix on Thunder while watching Nail Shop Paris.
First thoughts...OMG THEY ARE BACK!
The boys start off in a black and white, classy yet sexy theme. Suited up and some members even wearing suits that accentuate some highlighted body parts.

Seung Ho is looking great. He is really taking his health and exercise regiment seriously nowadays, shredding his image as the most unhealthy member of the group.

Thunder's pink hair definitely adds a more fun and playful image. He doesnt really rap in this video but Mir handles that towards the end. G.O. even has a slight hair color job too.

Lee Joon's eyes are captivating as usual. His dance background comes into play while dancing with a girl early in the video and shows some cuteness to the camera around the 3:20 mark.

Mir is adorable yet serious and sophisticated. His presence is strong when he raps.

The dance involves some hip action, which is a plus. The changes from the dark, sexy themes in the begin, change up to a more brighter theme when white suits are covered in glow in the dark paints.

The video even ends with a female foreigner which is always interesting to watch in kpop videos. Not sure why...
WATCH THE VIDEO.
