Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) was based on the manga by Yoko Kamio that enjoyed serialization from 1992 to 2003.
The anime version was still a year away, but it seemed as though director Yasuyuki Kusuda was trying to achieve the feel of an anime with this film. It employed some of the comedic techniques used in Taiwanese productions; over-exaggeration in movements and amplified delivery of lines that you would normally see in a stage performance where actors are playing to a large audience. But there's also the slapstick treatment of scenes that they really could have done without.

GD's WIN Style
Aww, GD. Right back at ya.
If you aren't caught up with YG's Who is Next, then that's a big problem. In episode 6, the battle really heats up as Team A is led by Taeyang and Team B is led by GD. Fans are now able to vote for their favorite Team and the winner will be the next group to debut under YG.
Team B is on point with an awesome stage presence, tight dance routines and fierce energy.
My heart goes out to Team A, the hyung team, who have everything to lose and put in their best efforts. Their vocals are great. Will their spirits be broken in another episode of loss or will they rise to the occasion and prove they deserve to debut?

F4 and the Girl
For those die hard BOF fans who want a complete and comprehensive comparison chart. Too bad the rumored Filipino version never came to be. Their F4 lineup was quite pleasing!

The Many Faces of Boys Over Flowers Part 1
It's a scary proposition; an American version of Boys Over Flowers, produced independently, and having a cast of unknowns. But more on that in part 2. Before we open that can of worms, here's a refresher on the faces of this much beloved production.

The Many Faces of Boys Over Flowers Part 2
WillKinn Media has undertaken the task of producing the American remake of Boys Over Flowers, entitled Boys Before Friends. While you may be relieved that a big studio isn't twisting the original plot right out of the story, there are other worries when a smaller operation is making it an independent internet series. But first, we should meet the main cast of unknown actors.

MV BREAKDOWN:// Insooni: Beautiful Girl
Insooni is releasing her 18th studio album, 'Umbrella' and marks her 35th anniversary since debut.
This video is an epic display of guerilla marketing when she walks aboard a subway train and begins to perform. She struts her stuff with powerful vocals and a diva attitude to match. The song is empowering and is a positive anthem that only a woman like her can belt out.
Debuting in the late 70's, in a girl group, she has worked hard to make herself known. She is also of mixed-decent (her father is African American and mother is Korean) so while she was growing up, had to deal with the struggles of being accepted in society.
I first saw her randomly on a YouTube video while searching for "Yeollie" of Infinite. My first thoughts were 'Who is this awesome lady with such charisma and flare?' I figured if you don't know who this 56 year old woman is, now is the time to get with the program people.

#BTS100Days
BTS debuted 100 days ago! June 12, 2013 marked the debut of 7 amazingly talented and highly adorable boys known as Bangtan Sonyeondan (Bulletproof Boy Scouts). Best of luck and much success to V, Jin, Suga, Rap Monster, Jungkook, J-Hope, and Jimin. (Maybe that's in a particular order...maybe it isn't. :P)
That means my BTS playlist is on full volume and playing all day. (But how is that different from any other day Batzy? There's no difference beside the fact that its my birthday too. -dances-

Recap:// Attention Please Episode 6
We're at the halfway mark and Misaki seems to be coming along slowly but surely. It should take the rest of the series for her to become a cabin attendant at this rate, but that's okay. She's a fun mess and there's nothing like character development to make you rethink your own progress!

MV BREAKDOWN:// BTS: N.O
Oh yea, it's released...
The boys are back with the MV of N.O, the single off of O, R U L8, 2?. BtS's first mini album was released today.
The video: No ab flaunting this time ladies but several close ups and enough camera/eye contact to make you squeal just as much. A little CG here and there proves that, in the words of J-Hope, they "Make money. Good money". The colors are lighter (white) which is a change from their debut darkness (mainly black). It's futuristic and dream-like.
The concept: Sticking to their guns, the boys yet again maintain their alliance to rebelling against society and staying true to what they want to do and who they want to be. They are in a school environment where they are expected to conform to authority and act like robots. That is, until Jungkook decides to raise all hell and fight against them with the rest of the team to follow. Thanks to the disobedient maknae, A fight breaks loose, some chairs and desks get thrown, walls crack, shit blows up...you know the usual. Guess they are just 2 Cool 4 Skool. (Yea, I did that on purpose.) The dance break was nothing but perfect as BTS skillfully performs their routine in unison.
The Song: Great hip hop feel and string ensemble. The breaks with V, Jin and even Jimin, singing ended up giving me chills. (Yes, I fangirl hard with BTS. What?!)
They seemed very confident in performing since they debuted. A few similarities from other videos arise. Choreography style is the same including Jimin's high-fly air time flip, and Suga "on-top" of other members yet again. He sat on V in No More Dream now he's just standing on members! Why Suga? Suga also raps with some high pitched accents in his rap like last time. I'm gonna stake all of this for the sake of consistency in style. <3

Love for Noona
With school and my birthday rolling around the corner, I'm not getting any younger but it seems as though my fangirling is hitting quite an age range. (Dam Noona Killers-how I love you all.)I've decided to add a few of my favorite songs dedicated to Noonas. Trust me, these make everything seem so right.
NOT A DONGSAENG
These boys have had enough and are tired of being viewed as a younger sibling.
This power ballad gets me. Strong lyrics and vocals show Lee Seung Gi as a perfect candidate for a Noona's affection. And the video... -swoons-
Lee Seung Gi: Because You're My Woman
Although they look young as hell in this video, U-KISS wants you to know that even though they are, their mind set is pure Namja. This was way back before Hoon and A.J., featuring the ex-members Alexander and Kibum. -pinches Dongho's cheeks-
Do you think these boys know what love is? They say they do, but I don't believe it. Good try and cute effort; boy have they grown up well.
U-KISS: Not Young
NOONA, YOU'RE SO PRETTY
Awww, thanks. You aren't too bad yourself. -Winks-
If these boys utter those words, you might faint or die a happy death. Some of us might never hear that face to face so let's hear this and Replay it. (See what I did there.)
SHINee: Noona, You're So Pretty
Ahh, the smell of fresh meat.(Sorry Panda-Unnie. Bad choice of words...it's just an expression.) It's a video by the newly debuted cuties, going straight for Noonas everywhere. It includes a few adorable kids, including the little powerhouse best known for his awesome dancing skills in PSY's Gangnam Style video.
NOM: Pretty Noona
I WANT A NOONA
여기에! -Throws self-
Ren's intro is so cute. There's no MV for this song but there is a dance practice. I preferred the audio version with subtitles. Thanks to NuestOnly on YouTube.
N'uest: Introduce Me To Your Noona
HAVE MY CAKE AND EAT IT TOO.
Because nothing is more manlier than having a Noona mistress.
What's to say about this one. The boy loves noona, but doesn't want his girlfriend to know it. The ending of this video was a definite killer and it features The Innocent Man (aka Nice Guy)'s Park Si-Yeon.
Teen Top: No More Perfume On You
Now there are a few other Noona videos that I did not add on here. If you feel there are some that should have made the list, comment below and I will add them in the next installment of Love for Noona.
Thanks for reading and don't forget to Like Us on Facebook.>>>>

MV BREAKDOWN:// Zia and Lee Hae Ri (of Davichi): If You Loved Me
I will post the video first. Consider yourself warned as some of you might consider the screenies and writing a spoiler.
I am sure alot of you know why I posted this video.
1. Its from Loen.
2. Hoya from Infinite/Infinite H is in it.
2.5. Pup-Chan Loves Hoya!
3. I haven't posted a female video in a while.
4. All of the MV Breakdowns have upbeat tempos so its time for a slight change.
And here is the official Batzy breakdown.
The Song: Very emotional, lovely voices, smooth, flowing and other than depressing the hell outta me, it gave me chills. Batzy is moved.
The Video: Hoya is pleasing to the eye with his bright smile as always. The acting is something that I am very content with. I almost cried and feared for Hoya's life towards the end of the video. Well done photography direction. Deep. Batzy is moved again.
All in all. I am not a fan of ballads and I am very hard to please when it comes to female artist but this song has got me hooked. Although I can't listen to it all the time because I'd probably spend my whole day in bed, sad, alone and crying my eyes out, I enjoyed it. You guys won me over. Happy now? :)
Let's just stare at Hoya for a while to lift my mood.
I stopped after this part because I got depressed again. -goes offline to cry-

BTS: N.O (Teaser 1)
OMG release the video already will you!
I would say I'm sorry for posting more about BTS but I'm not. I've been dying for their comeback release (9.11.13) even though they debuted in June. The website sports a countdown timer that has been driving me NUTS.
My main complaint about these boys was that every time I saw them, it was like they wore the same dam outfits all the time. With this trailer, it seems our Bangtan Boys have proven themselves worthy of more financial backing. With 'O! R U L8, 2?' I am anticipating the fire that will set ablaze a wild rush throughout the A.R.M.Y. (Can you tell I'm excited?)
Screenies? But of course darlings.
Sigma, Sigma, Sigma?
Why so many images of Maknae JungKook? Because he had the most coverage in the video due to his awesome facial expressions. Wonder if he will do some acting soon.
Other comments:
Who the hell is that? Oh Rap Monster... Looks good without the shades and crazy hair.
Jin looks like Jungkook's older sibling. Hyung indeed.
All the boys looks really good in this video.
Ok, enough talking let's roll footage.
N.O Trailer
And here's some stuff you may have missed.(If you did miss this, you should definitely be ashamed of yourself.)

History on Mnet Countdown
So I saw History perform "Tell me Love" on Mnet Countdown. First thought was "Do they have the same stylist as BTS?" It reminded me of when my mom would dress me and my sister up like twins because the two youngest were twins. Just because you dress us the same doesn't mean we are the same. What exactly is the label trying to do here?
History is a pretty new group that debuted April of this year. Under the label LOEN Entertainment, they have released several YouTube videos to highlight the members as well as involve the fans in some fun and games. From a marketing perspective that's always a good idea but is it working for these boys?
Now, I honestly don't know any of these boys, but then again I am usually bad with remembering names.I did however see the video for "Dreamer" and I thought that they undeniably have talent. Their vocals and harmonizing are amazing.
Back to MNET countdown...I feel like the package here is lacking. Why wear that when your song is cutesy and upbeat? It definitely would have been better with some bright colors, maybe a little more B1A4-ish (Ahhh Baro and CNU). Visuals and performance didn't match for me but they did perform wel and They love the camera.
My highlights:
Cute but with all the competition, they really need to work on their dancing. I look forward to seeing the progress of History as time goes by. (I was sooo going to write a pun using their name but decided against it.)
